  7. I made the following additions/changes to DVPEG v2.1:
  8.  * great speed now with panning (nearly real-time panning)
  9.       (tint/bright had to be turned off for hicolor modes)
  10.  * slightly faster display without panning, too
  11.  * Tseng ET4000 true colour mode (16M colour) changed to work with Cardex8
  12.       (ax=10f0h, bx=2effh, xwidth is 1920 [NOT 2048!])
  13.  * hicolor now really looks like true color!!! (provided that dithering is on)
  14.    this is achieved by dithering, using a 2x2 matrix, which virtually
  15.    results in 21 bit color resolution
  16.  * also sort directiories by name
  17.  * display file sizes
  18.  * some minor changes I don't remember now
  19.  * compiled with Borland C++ 3.1 in 80386 mode, resulting in some
  20.    speed improvement (affects quantizing and jpeg decompression),
  21.    it also results in a smaller executable.
